The most culturally diverse in northeast itself stands NAGALAND with tribes classification of 16 namely Angami, Ao, Chakesang, Chang, Kachari, Khiamniungan , Konyak , Kuki, Lotha, Phom, Pochury, Rengma, Sangtam, Sumi, Yimchunger and Zeme-Liangmai (Zeliang).Each tribe is unique in character with its own distinct customs, language and dress.Headhunters of Mon Village with face tattoos are still famous as they used to hunt heads in ancient times during warfare and the number of tattoos signified their glory in war.
DZUKOU VALLEY : Situated at an altitude of 2452 m above sea level this enchanting valley is placed between the border of North Eastern state Nagaland and Manipur. Its said that once you visit the Dzukou Valley you have to visit it thrice or else your soul gets left behind , myth it is but if you ever once visit this valley you will feel like visiting it again and again cause every time the seasons change the aroma of the whole valley gets changed and it is so beautiful . One could only experience be it winter ,summer or autumn and monsoon . One of the rarest lilies bloom only this place which cannot be found at any other location.
